Incentives focus on rewarding Kroger's most loyal customers with personalized offers to drive visits, units, and sales back to you and Kroger. Every customer receives a unique combination of offers, targeted at the household level.

Loyalty is the foundation of growth. Loyal households are the engine that drive your Brand forward as they consistently spend more, more frequently than non-loyal households.

In 84.51° Prism, you can create offers for Custom Incentives and Best Customer Communications (BCC) Loyalty Events like:

Types

Custom Incentives and Best Customer Communications (BCC) Loyalty Events are created and curated by Kroger. These opportunities contain multiple nominations and coupons from many different companies.

You can submit nominations and coupons throughout the year for these Incentives Campaigns.

Loyalty Events

BCC tactics like Loyalty Events target households that have previously interacted with your product (like Loyal Households or Switchers) or those purchasing within the same category as your product (like Category Buyers).

Loyal Customer Mailer (LCM)

MyMagazine

New at Kroger Introduces new items to Kroger customers with offers targeting category-relevant householdss with highest propensity for trial.

  • Sends customers six (6) highly-relevant offers selected based on purchase behavior

  • Use to acquire new customers who have the propensity to try new products at Kroger through a digital ad and coupon

  • Gives suppliers an opportunity to reach loyal Kroger shoppers

These BCC tactics are key to driving incrementality overall and with loyal shoppers.

Custom Incentives

You can use Custom Incentives tactics to customize audiences, reward and retain loyal shoppers and selected Boost households, drive consideration, conversion, and Brand awareness.

Boost Exclusives in LCM

  • Use to reach high-value Boost members with exclusive, differentiated and acquisition-based offers

  • Offers with a minimum 30% discount value; 100% digital delivery

  • Gives suppliers an opportunity to reach the most loyal shoppers at Kroger

Direct Mail Solo

  • Use to generate product awareness and engagement by targeting households via custom purchase criteria

  • Offers sent directly to customers by direct mail; no digital delivery

  • Gives suppliers an opportunity to reach over 14 million Direct Mail exclusive households

MyMagazine Ads Ads in MyMagazine featuring personalized coupons, recipes and more produced by Kroger and 84.51° to provide a personalized experience tailored to customers' unique interests and preferences.

  • Use to reach four (4) to six (6) million Kroger households with full-page ads to communicate meal solutions, tips, and key product information

  • Leverages QR code to drive shoppers to a Brand Page or Product Listing Ad on Kroger.com

  • Does NOT includes a coupon offer; digital experience included

MyMagazine New Innovation Modules A component of the MyMagazine site that features personalized coupons, recipes and more that is produced by Kroger and 84.51° to provide a personalized experience tailored to customers' unique interests and preferences.

  • Use to drive additional awareness of new items with a commercial opportunity available within seasonal MyMagazine events

  • Gives suppliers an opportunity to reach four (4) to six (6) million Kroger households

  • Up to three (3) placements per magazine; digital experience included

Targeted Digital Coupon

While intake for Targeted Digital Coupon is done via Managed Service, they are classified as Best Customer Communications.

  • Use to reach the most relevant Kroger households aligned with your brand's objectives through custom targeted digital offers on mobile and web coupon pages

  • Discount threshold is often 15 % depending on the RSP Retail Sale Price

  • Pairs / layers well with a variety of channels (like Push Notifications, Email Modules, Display Ads, Meta Ads, Pinterest Ads, Online Video Ads, or Pandora Ads) to drive awareness of the offer and brand

Nominations

Nominations are coupons you can create to be included within a Incentives Campaign. You create these in conjunction with your .

When creating a nomination, you'll set the Circulation The number of households where the coupon is sent. for the nomination as well as include any coupons for the event.

These nominations and coupons are then sent to customers.

Nomination dashboard

Your Nomination dashboard is a visual snapshot of your Incentives Campaign data and information in 84.51° Prism.

Each tab of the dashboard has a specific function or feature:

  • Nomination Details — Shows an overall summary of your nomination. You'll also enter and/or update your nomination details in this tab.
